It was my pleasure last Friday to deliver our annual UAB Institutional Presentation to the UA System Board of Trustees. This year’s presentation, delivered at the beginning of UAB’s 50th anniversary year, reflects on our longtime culture of collaboration and innovation that propelled this young university to international renown and continues to drive our success.
At UAB, we continue our rich tradition of setting and exceeding ambitious goals in all areas of our mission and planning strategically for an even bolder future. This is all made possible by our talented faculty, staff and students campuswide, and our strong partnership — another UAB tradition — with our community and state, our board, and alumni and friends throughout the nation.
