This weekend, Nov. 2-3, he will perform with the Buffalo Philharmonic, led by conductor Arild Remmereit, as it salutes iconic opera composer Richard Wagner on the occasion of his 200th birthday.

On Thursday, Nov. 14, Kasman will join Denise Gainey, D.M.A., associate professor of clarinet, in a performance at the Faculty Recital at UAB’s Alys Stephens Performing Arts Center. The recital, which begins at 7 p.m. is free to attend.

Kasman will end the month as a member of the jury in Moscow for an all-Russian young pianists competition called “Merzlyakovka Invites Friends.”
