Magic City Eats is your on-campus food truck

magic city eats insideGrab an outdoor bite to eat at Magic City Eats, Campus Dining’s food truck, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. weekdays in various locations around the Campus Green. Schedules and menus are available on the Campus Calendar or on Instagram @uabdining. Pay by credit, debit, Dining Dollars, BlazerBucks, Dragon Cash and MVP Swipes.

Brian Bowser, resident district manager in Dining Services, says Magic City Eats is the campus “culinary playground,” with whimsical meal choices such as Fired Up Tots, Wicked Wings and PB and Cray. He added that an outdoor meal experience is just what Blazers need during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“With a focus on keeping physically distant, having an outdoor dining option allows the campus community to safely grab a quick bite to eat,” Bowser said. “The staff at the food truck strictly enforces physical distancing. They have even reformatted the way you order and pick up your food to ensure an easy flow of single file traffic.”

Bowser also says that Magic City Eats is the only food truck in the state at which students can use meal plans.
