Blazers’ DirecTV parody is all in the family

The first week of basketball practice ended with a hugely successful Hoops on the Haasephalt and launched an ad for online access to Blazer sports that’s all in the family.

Randy Norton, in his third season as head coach for Women’s Basketball, co-stars in this DirecTV Parody, with his son Nick, a sophomore at UAB and starting guard for Men’s Basketball.

Young Nick has Blazer Vision All-Access, but Randy “Really Old Nick Norton” has cable. Young Nick has online access to all UAB sports. Alas, Really Old Nick does not.

Blazer Vision All Access, which provides online sports streaming, is available on uabsports.com starting at $9.99 month for fans who don’t want to miss any action this season.

This past year, UAB Women’s Basketball finished tied for fourth in Conference USA, and Men’s Basketball won the C-USA tournament and is the pre-season pick to win the conference this year.

Both teams will open the season 2015-16 season Nov. 13 at Auburn University.

For season tickets, call the UAB Athletic Ticket office at 205-975-8221 or purchase them online at uabsports.com.
