Researchers at UAB Pediatrics are studying balance and vestibular function in children and teens born with CMV.
Your child may qualify if they:
- Are under 18 years old
- Were born with congenital CMV (CMV at birth)
What will participants do?
- Complete vestibular (balance) testing
- If vestibular dysfunction is identified, participate in an 8-week at-home rehabilitation program
- Return for repeat vestibular testing to see if balance function improved
Study details:
- No invasive testing
- Compensation provided for time and participation
- Help researchers learn more about balance problems related to congenital CMV
