What is the study about?

The goal of this study is to understand how executive functioning skills, such as working memory and inhibition, are related to everyday adaptive behaviors in youth with intellectual disability. The study aims to improve understanding and practical support in daily life.

What does the study involve?

  • Two remote meetings via Zoom of 1.5h each (3h total)
  • Computer-based tasks and questionnaires for youth
  • Caregiver questionnaires about their child’s everyday skills

Who can participate?

  • Youth ages 6-21
  • Diagnosed with intellectual disability
  • Caregiver available to participate

Compensation

Participants will receive $15 via a clincard upon completion as compensation.
