Apply for, donate to tornado relief funds for UAB employees

For Blazers in need of food, Blazer Kitchen locations at Medical Towers and Hill Student Center are open for drive-thru pick-up and online ordering; email for more information. The Benevolent Fund also can connect employees, students and patients with nonprofit community partners working to assist those affected by the tornado.

“The Benevolent Fund relies on the generosity of UAB employee contributions to fund the assistance we provide through the EEAP and Blazer Kitchen,” said Lisa Higginbotham, Benevolent Fund manager. “Contributions also support charities such as the American Red Cross, Salvation Army, Birmingham Hands On and United Way Disaster Fund, which are critical to providing immediate and long-term disaster relief.”
