puzzle pieces streamFaculty fellows are eligible to receive as much as $5,000 per team for seed funding to design and execute a project to advance interprofessional education through a UAB Center for Interprofessional Education and Simulation (CIPES) leadership program. Interested faculty, who will learn from and work with academic and practice leaders at UAB and nationally, should submit a letter of interest, a letter of support from their department chair and a CV in a single PDF file to oipc@uab.edu before Dec. 22. “We want to develop a community of leaders across UAB,” said Allison Shorten, director for the CIPES Office of Interprofessional Curriculum, which brings together undergraduate and post-graduate learners from more than one school or discipline into a common educational experience and environment. “This is an opportunity for selected fellows to learn more about interprofessional education, develop those skills and then give back to the UAB community by developing and implementing a project by the end of a one-year program.”
