Blazer Bridge Fund
The UAB Harbert Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship invites faculty to apply for the fourth cohort of the Blazer Bridge Fund, an early-stage translational fund aiming to support the development of novel intellectual property (IP) to attract licensee interest and/or position the technology for intellectual property protection. Up to $50,000 is available for each of five to six projects. Interested applicants should submit an application by May 15, 2026.

UAB Comprehensive Diabetes Center
The UAB Comprehensive Diabetes Center (UCDC) invites faculty to apply for the 2026 Seed Funding Program. Up to $50,000 is available for research projects focused on Precision Diabetes. Interested applicants should submit an application by 5 p.m. June 19, 2026.
