UAB Enterprise Code of Conduct The UAB Enterprise Code of Conduct sets forth the standards of behavior expected of all UAB community members.
Policy Concerning the Responsible Conduct of Research and Other Scholarly Activities This policy underscores the ethical principles for responsible conduct by which all UAB faculty, employees, and trainees must abide in the performance, recording, and reporting of research and scholarly activities. It also sets forth the procedures to be followed in the case of suspected research misconduct, from preliminary assessment through final outcome of an investigation.
Authorship Policy This policy describes essential considerations and requirements in responsible authorship and publication and protects the interests of UAB authors in the scientific and scholarly process.
UAB Enterprise Conflict of Interest and Conflict of Commitment Policy This policy describes the UAB Enterprise's commitment to conducting its activities in ways that promote and maintain public trust and sets forth requirements for employees and other designated individuals in identifying and managing conflicts of interest and conflict of commitment.
Duty to Report and Non-retaliation Policy This policy supports the UAB Enterprise Code of Conduct and the University's commitment to maintain an open environment in which UAB Members are able to raise Good Faith concerns and assist appropriate authorities in investigating potential Wrongful Conduct.
Ethics Policy This policy describes the conditions of the State of Alabama's Ethics Law. All UAB employees (faculty, staff, and student workers) are expected to adhere to the standards of this law.
Policy on the Protection of Human Subjects in Research This policy establishes UAB’s program for the protection of human subjects and describes the ethical standards and institutional commitments applicable to the conduct of human subjects research at UAB. This policy also serves as POL001 for UAB's Human Research Protection Program.
