Morghen2Elizabeth Morghen Sikes, OTR/L, is a pediatric occupational therapist pursuing her doctorate in rehabilitation sciences at University of Alabama at Birmingham. She has prior experience working as an OT with pediatric populations in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Her current research through ENRL focuses on children with neurological conditions including pediatric onset multiple sclerosis (POMS) and spina bifida (SB). She is investigating physical activity promotion among youth with POMS in her dissertation, and leads several projects within the lab focused on physical activity in pediatrics. In her spare time, Morghen enjoys hiking, knitting, and watching movies with her husband and two pets, Lawton and Lincoln Jude.
