StephanieStephanie Silveira is a postdoctoral fellow in the Exercise Neuroscience Research Lab. She completed her PhD in Kinesiology at the University of Houston and joined the lab in April 2018. Her current research is focused on exercise interventions for persons with Multiple Sclerosis, specifically individuals who use wheelchairs for mobility. She completed an qualitative interview study aimed at understanding the exercise experiences and preferences in this group and another study examining environmental correlates of physical activity. Stephanie also has an interest in program evaluation including treatment response heterogeneity and intervention fidelity metrics. She is actively engaged in data collections for other projects in the lab as well as being a behavioral coach in a physical activity intervention.
