Quality Matters
Quality Matters (QM) is a "faculty-centered, peer review process that is designed to certify the quality of online and blended courses." It provides a number of helpful resources for faculty to evaluate the design of courses as well as professional development opportunities. UAB is a QM subscribing organization, but faculty must first register individually to take full advantage of subscriber resources.

SHP QM Certification
The Quality Matters review system features 40 quality standards and a team of three reviewers. The review panel consists of a subject expert, a design expert and one external reviewer. To earn certification is a major accomplishment.
