NRP Mary BowmanMary Bowman , OTR/L, C/NDT, LSVT-BIG

Mary Bowman, assistant professor in the UAB departments of Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy, has been an occupational therapist for more than 30 years and has worked in Constraint-Induced Movement Therapy since 2002 when she joined Dr Edward Taub's CI Therapy Research Group. Since that time, she has developed and implemented multiple CI Therapy research and treatment protocols. She has treated adult patients in CI Therapy clinical practice in the UAB Taub Therapy Clinic and children at Childrens of Alabama, where she has administered all versions of CI Therapy for the arm and hand.

 

nrp gavin jenkinsSarah dos Anjos, PhD, OTD, MSc, OTR/L

Sarah dos Anjos is an assistant professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy and has collaborated with the CI Therapy Research Group since 2016. She has more than 20 years of clinical experience in the rehabilitation of adults with neurological conditions and the application of the CI Therapy protocol. Since 2008, she has applied the CI Therapy protocol and has conducted research studies with different versions of the treatment.

 

nrp dave morrisDavid M. Morris, Ph.D., PT, FAPTA

David Morris, professor and chair of the UAB Department of Physical Therapy, has worked in Constraint-Induced Therapy at UAB since 1994 and has participated in multiple research projects aimed at developing the approach and examining its influence on extremity use following stroke and other neurologic disorders.
