The 2016 AlaSim International Conference will be held May 3-6, in Huntsville, and is calling for participation of event speakers, panelists, instructors, sponsors, and exhibitors.

The conference brings together the greater modeling and simulation community from Alabama, North America, and the world and is designed both to showcase the breadth and depth of simulation activity in Alabama.

Here at Marshall, we have many advanced modeling and simulation facilities and capabilities including, our Hardware in the Loop for SLS, satellite simulators like our Flat Floor facility, 3D virtual reality such as our Computer Application Virtual Environment (CAVE), and additive manufacturing of rocket components.

The body of knowledge and networking opportunities at AlaSim are of great importance to the work we are doing at Marshall and would not be complete without your contributions so please take advantage of this opportunity.

We are looking for:
  • Abstracts for briefings on in-progress, planned, and completed modeling and simulation projects.
  • Proposals for modeling and simulation workshops.
  • Proposals for tutorial presentations providing introductory and advanced training in current modeling and simulation technology.
  • Proposals for panel discussions providing an opportunity for open discussion of modeling and simulation products, issues or methodologies.

All abstracts are due by February 28, 2016.
Author registration deadline is March 23, 2016.

If you have any questions on how to engage, your MSFC point of contact is Chris Randall (chris.randall-1@nasa.gov).

We encourage you to submit your papers, presentations and ideas to Raytheon’s, Joe Gauthier (Joseph.S.Gauthier@Raytheon.com), who is the General Chairman this year.

Admission is free for Federal and State government employees and the event is conveniently located at Dynetics in Research Park.
