The UAB School of Public Health's 2020 Outstanding Masters Student (MPH), Haley Greene, Department of Epidemiology, has received a CDC/CSTE Applied Epidemiology Fellowship. Greene is a first-generation college student, and the recipient of the William Randolph Hearst Foundation Endowed Scholarship. During her time at the School of Public Health, Haley gained extensive experience in public health practice. She credits her time at UAB for helping her achieve short-term academic goals, in addition to preparation for a future as an infectious disease epidemiologist. Haley has matched with the Virginia Department of Health in the Foodborne Disease Epidemiology program.
