As a medical oncologist at Bryn Mawr Hospital, Dr. Gupta cares for patients with breast cancer every day. “Over the past decade, I have learned from my patients’ experiences at diagnosis, during treatment, and through long-term survival,” he says. “LBBC has been an incredible organization for my patients by providing trusted information and a community of support.”

Also a Clinical Assistant Professor at Thomas Jefferson University’s Sidney Kimmel Medical College, Dr. Gupta brings combined experience as a physician, educator, and patient advocate to the LBBC board. “I want to help advance LBBC’s mission to help patients with breast cancer stay informed, feel connected to a community, and be supported through their journey,” he says. Dr. Gupta has previously been a speaker at the Living Beyond Breast Cancer Annual Conference.

“We look forward to having Sameer’s expertise and perspective on the Board,” says Jean Sachs, CEO of Living Beyond Breast Cancer. “Our community is made stronger by his devotion to both his patients and the broader breast cancer community.”
