The Dallas County resident is a standout member of the DIAL program, which is is designed to encourage residents in Alabama’s Black Belt region to get more exercise. With the help of a FitBit device and encouragement and guidance from DIAL staff, Sonja has reached her goal of walking 10,000 steps a day. She's also lost 25 pounds.
