Each summer, the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services (ADRS) offers a statewide College Prep program to all ADRS consumers with a plan to attend post-secondary training. The program originated in Birmingham in the late 1980’s and was first held on the campus of ADRS Lakeshore.
Meeting and event spaces in the Hill Student Center can be booked beginning Tuesday, March 8 at 10 a.m. for Fall 2016 (August 29 - December 31) by Registered Student Organizations.

The UAB student organization Donor to Diner, along with UAB Campus Restaurants, will host its second meal donation event at the Commons on the Green. Donor to Diner allows students to donate a meal to benefit fellow Blazers facing food insecurity.

The University of Alabama at Birmingham is thrilled to announce the grand opening celebration of the Hill Student Center on Wednesday, Jan. 20 at 2 p.m. All students, faculty, staff and community members are invited to attend this free event at 1400 University Blvd.

Beginning January 1, the UAB Space Reservation System will be used in lieu of Book It for reserving some non-academic spaces, including the Mini Park, Unity Park, Hill Student Center, Student Housing & Residence Life Spaces, the Commons Plaza and the Campus Green.
