The University of Alabama at Birmingham is thrilled to announce the grand opening celebration of the Hill Student Center on Wednesday, Jan. 20 at 2 p.m. All students, faculty, staff and community members are invited to attend this free event at 1400 University Blvd.

Beginning January 1, the UAB Space Reservation System will be used in lieu of Book It for reserving some non-academic spaces, including the Mini Park, Unity Park, Hill Student Center, Student Housing & Residence Life Spaces, the Commons Plaza and the Campus Green.
The Hill Student Center will soft-open on Monday, December 7. Offices & Services will slowly become available throughout the remainder of the Fall semester and into January 2016
UAB students took part in a food drive of a different kind on Friday. They held a "Pack the Pantry" food drive.
