The UAB Benevolent Fund is preparing for our 2012 campaign!

The UAB Benevolent Fund supports UAB employees through the Employee Emergency Assistance Program (EEAP) and offers help to the larger community through support of non-profit agencies. Tornado Relief Assistance

If you know of any UAB employee or student that was impacted by the recent storms that may need emergency financial assistance, please have them get in touch with us at 934-1581. We're here to help!
 



Chili Cook-Off


UAB's 2012 employee chili cook-off is scheduled for Thursday, March 8th from 11am to 1:30pm.  This event will feature the best chili recipes from more than 30 teams, at both the UAB Hospital Highlands Cafeteria and UAB Hospital West Pavilion Atrium.

Start a Team
Register your team of creative cooks by 4pm on Friday, Februrary 10th!  Each team will receive fice 2012 Chili Cook-Off T-shirts and five Cook's Passes for entrance to the event.  The number of teams is limited, so be sure to register soon.  To sign up, e-mail Audrey McClinton at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Buy a Ticket
Tickets are only $5 and allow you to taste each chili entered in the cook-off, allowing you to vote for your favorite team!  Tickets are on sale now at the following locations:

Chili Cook-Off T-shirts are available for $10 each and will be sold at UAB Hospital and UAB Hospital Highlands, as well as various locations around campus.
