Iceberg provides additional cold stowage assets aboard the ISS to support an increase in the performance of science activities. The internal cold volume is configurable to support various shapes and sizes of science samples. It is similar to the Glacier and Polar units currently in the Cold Stowage fleet, but provides additional volume, which reduces the number of EXPRESS Rack locations required to meet the cold stowage research demands.
