All vehicles parking on UAB property must be registered with Parking and Transportation Services and must properly display the appropriate lot permit.
Employee parking for decks and lots is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, and parking facilities may have restrictions based on buildings they serve or job classification. A waiting list is kept on any parking facility that has demand greater than capacity. Free bus service is also available from remote lots through Blazer Express.
Parking permit fees are paid through automatic payroll deduction.
Faculty with an active full-time parking assignment who are paying the standard monthly parking fee have access to certain additional parking decks and lots 5 p.m. to 6 a.m. weekdays and 24 hours on weekends. Please call the parking office at 205-934-3513 for more information.
Employee parking can be found on the UAB Campus Map; however, your parking permit will likely designate a specific lot or deck. If you cycle to campus, there's a map for bike rack locations.
UAB also has a carpool program to promote carpooling as an attractive alternative to individual commuting.
