Two page Essay:

Applicant must submit a typed, 2-page essay on the topic: “How have you been impacted by your service to UAB and/or the community?” The applicant should describe in detail his/her service within the campus and/or the community. Participation in organizations and activities promoting the applicant’s service should be outlined in this essay.

Two letters of Recommendation:

Applicant must seek two (2) letters of recommendation. These letters should be from UAB Administrators or faculty members who are acquainted with the applicant’s service on campus, and/or from individuals who are familiar with the student’s community service involvement.
