Gene Expression
Gene expression assays for targeted arrays of genes or whole genomes are available for interrogation. Expression assays involve synthesis and labeling of double-stranded cDNA from extracted RNA, which is then concentrated, fragmented, and hybridized to a BeadChip fiber optic bundle or chip array containing sequences representing up to 48,000 known genes and ESTs.
