Biography

Dr. Anzalone is a board certified emergency medicine physician and a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians (FACEP). Dr. Anzalone attended medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and then trained in Emergency Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he served as Chief Resident.

Currently, Dr. Anzalone provides acute care as an Attending Physician and Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at UAB’s large urban Level 1 trauma center. He has interests in EMS, operational medicine and aeromedical critical care transport. Dr. Anzalone is also a veteran of the United States Air Force, where he served on active duty for ten years.
