Forging the Future of Palliative Care Innovation Summit

We are now accepting abstracts to be considered for a concurrent session at the Forging the Future of Palliative Care 2024 Innovation Summit taking place November 14-16, 2024, in Birmingham, AL

SUBMIT AN ABSTRACT

This call is open until July 1, 2024. 

The abstract call is open to palliative care, pediatric palliative care, and hospice professionals across all settings and career stages including early career and professionals in training. Selected content is intended to enrich palliative care, hospice, education, research, and practice.

Submission categories include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Topics in palliative care, pediatric palliative care, and hospice.

Forging the Future of Palliative Care 2024 Innovation Summit focuses on culture, communication, and care in the American South. Palliative, pediatric, and hospice care topics centered within these lenses (or areas) will be prioritized for consideration.

Preferred Presentation Length

A typical concurrent session is scheduled for 1 hour; 45 minutes for the presentation and 15 minutes for Q&A.

Review Criteria:

• Presentation Title

• Presenter name(s) & role

• Background, objectives, methods, outcomes, implications (less than 350 words)

Review and Notifications

Abstracts will be reviewed by the Summit Programmatic Committee. Notification of abstract status will be sent via email the week of July 26, 2024 to the submitting author listed on the abstract.

If your abstract is accepted, all presenting faculty will receive FREE registration to the Summit.
