The nationally recognized UAB Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care Medicine provides a variety of comprehensive clinical treatment of respiratory, pulmonary vascular, and allergic disorders. US News and World Report and Best Doctors in America consistently rank the division and faculty among the top for respiratory disease. Investigative programs are both nationally and internationally recognized.

Our portfolio of NIH-funded projects has grown significantly in the last 5 years and many of our faculty members serve in leadership positions at the American Thoracic Society, the American College of Chest Physicians, and other professional organizations.

The division's many clinical and clinical research programs have a track record of participating in networks such as the NIH-funded COPD and Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis Networks, the American Lung Association's Asthma Clinical Research Network, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Therapeutics Development Network, and the Pulmonary Fibrosis Clinical Care Network.

We are very proud of our collaborative  and vibrant intellectual environment and are delighted that you decided to visit our website!
