Project Overview

  • As a result of its 2011 study, Gartner Consulting recommended that UAB combine and utilize 2 existing UAB card systems (BlackBoard Transact and Honeywell Prowatch), sharing a single card type to provide access to all card-based services currently offered on campus.
  • In addition to serving as an identification card, the UAB ONE Cardwill provide access to the following resources:
    • Parking
    • Physical Security (doors, elevators, etc.)
    • Declining balance retail transactions (on-campus dining/vending and selected off-campus locations)
