UABTeach is all about options. The option to major in science, math, or engineering. The option to teach or pursue a career or graduate school in your major area. The perfect parallel plan! You even have the option of taking the first exploratory course to see if teaching and the UABTeach program is a good fit for you, without an obligation to continue.

Students who complete the UABTeach program receive a bachelor's degree in their field — math, science, or engineering — and have the option of earning teacher certification. And if you start your coursework by the first semester of your junior year, you should be able to finish without adding extra semesters.
