Addiction and pain impact the community directly and CAPPI is dedicated to the alleviation of this burden in two ways:

• Our community outreach seeks to provide the public with up-to-date research findings, access to local experts, as well as to provide educational tools to understand addiction and pain.
• Involvement in local support groups and their events in addition to reciprocal involvement of community stakeholders in CAPPI outreach programs.
