The University of Alabama at Birmingham Department of Chemistry has a heritage that has produced a distinguished and successful group of alumni that currently work all over Alabama, the United States, and throughout the world. UAB Chemistry combines the excellence of a world-class research university with the atmosphere of a close, collegial family. We are excited about the ongoing accomplishments of our current students and faculty and would like to share this excitement with you, our alumni.

We also invite our alumni to share their stories with us, our students, and the broader UAB community. Over the years our faculty and students have benefited from interactions with, and support from, our alumni. The involvement of our alumni, parents, and friends has been instrumental in supporting the mission of UAB Chemistry.
