Online Graphing Assignment

The data sets are available as a tab-delimited text file (txt file). This file can be opened by many different spreadsheet programs (such as Excel).

To obtain a copy of the file:

Right-click on the link for the unknown assigned to you (these are assigned by last name – see the Word doc in the assignment). Select "Save link as..." Note the location where this file will be saved.

To open the file in Excel:

Start Excel. Open the file using the open command. A dialog box will ask you a couple of questions and you are ready to go. (Or you can open the link and cut-and-paste the data into an open Excel file.)
