Dr. Shahid Mukhtar

Dr. Shahid Mukhtar published three articles recently. Bharat Mishra, a graduate student in Dr. Shahid Mukhtar’s lab, authored two articles in Scientific Reports. He performed "-omics"-based analyses and identified dynamic complexes associated with innate immunity and disease susceptibility in Arabidopsis and cotton in these two studies. In the third article, published in Plant Signaling & Behavior, Dr. Mukhtar’s lab discovered a transcription factor that is involved in male sterility and immune system.
