Wendy Scripps, M.S., M.P.A., has been appointed to serve on two committees of the American Dental Education Association (ADEA).

The ADEA Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Committee (ADEA DIAC) advises the Board of Directors on issues related to diversity and inclusion in dental education. The ADEA GoDental Advisory Group, works to recruit students into the dental profession. Both appointments are for three-year terms.

A program manager of student recruitment and engagement, Scripps is focused on recruiting and supporting the accompanying admissions processes and data management efforts. She joined the School of Dentistry in September 2021 with almost 10 years’ experience in student recruitment.

She serves as a member of the school’s staff council, an alternate to the UAB Staff Council, and an SOD Admissions Ambassador Sponsor.
