What is a VPAT?
A VPAT (Voluntary Product Accessibility Template) is a document that evaluates how accessible a product or service is according to established accessibility standards, such as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), Section 508, and EN 301 549. Vendors use the VPAT to report the level of conformance and identify any accessibility gaps. It is a critical part of the procurement and compliance process for ensuring that digital tools can be used by people with disabilities.
