Celicia Coleman currently serves as an Online Student Success Coach for the UAB Division of eLearning and Professional Studies. Celicia is a Chicago native, traveling to Birmingham for the first time in 2007 to begin her undergraduate studies at Miles College. She graduated in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in communications and is now continuing her education in the Masters of Higher Education Administration program at North Carolina Central University.

Celicia has been working in higher education for a total of five years and began her career at the University of North Carolina, Charlotte. It was there that she found a love for this field while working closely with staff, faculty, and students.

In her spare time, Celicia loves to road trip with friends, binge watch Survivor, The Office, and Abbott Elementary, as well as listen to R&B music. Celicia is so excited to serve in her current role and looks forward to bringing a piece of who she is to UAB.
