Randi manages the team of instructional designers within the Office of Learning Technologies. She provides UAB faculty and staff with instructional design support in developing academic and continuing education courses, advise on best practices for course design, teaching, and technology integration, as well as training on learning technologies. She also develops and facilitates course design and learning technologies workshops.

Randi serves as a Quality Matters Coordinator, Course Review Manager, Certified Master Reviewer, and Certified Face-to-Face Facilitator.

Randi earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Education from UAB. She completed her Ph.D. in Instructional Leadership with a concentration in Instructional Technology at the University of Alabama.
