  • Research Interests

Dr. Wang's iCardio-X laboratory is dedicated to the investigation of several focal areas.

    1. Developing precise and personalized therapeutic strategies for heart failure by exploring the underlying mechanisms of the disease through various heart failure models.
    2. Protein engineering technology is being utilized to decode effective peptides for the treatment of heart failure. By modifying peptides to enhance their stability, bioavailability, and specificity, researchers are able to create more targeted and effective treatments.
    3. Translational research is focusing on enhancing cardiac repair through the study of the posttranslational or genetic design of scaffolds in genetically engineered animal models.
