The Undergraduate Curriculum Committee is charged to review and recommend new undergraduate programs, including majors, concentrations, minors, and certificates and to review and proposed changes to academic policies and procedures for undergraduate programs.
Faculty Feedback on Proposals
Proposals and NISPs can be viewed on the UCC Documents page of the Faculty Senate SharePoint website. Faculty may submit comments and feedback, regarding the proposed programs, policies and procedures, on the website. (To access, go to the Login Information page; Read all of the login information; then select the link in the “Undergraduate Curriculum Committee” section. Then login to our SharePoint website.) Comments and feedback will be reviewed by the UCC if submitted to the website by 4:00 p.m., two days before the UCC meets (calendar available on committee's document page, see above).
UCC Review Results are detailed in the UCC reports and minutes posted on the Faculty Senate SharePoint website-UCC Documents page (see above; select the "Reports" and/or "Minutes" tabs).
Submitting Proposals
For guidelines, deadlines, and timelines regarding submitting a proposal or a Notice of Intent to Submit a Proposal (NISP), please see the Academic Planning webpage. To submit a proposal to the UCC, please do so on the Faculty Senate SharePoint website-UCC Documents page (see above).
Note: The UCC has developed charts that map out the review process and estimated/tentative timelines. These charts include the deadlines for submission to the UCC or GCC (Graduate Curriculum Committee). The schedules/dates are subject to change and the program approval process is not a self-serve process, yet you may refer to these charts to understand the process and to view the deadlines for submission to the UCC or GCC:
- Process and UCC/GCC submission deadlines for NISPs/Proposals: To access, go to the Login Information page; read all of the login information; then select the link in the “Undergraduate Curriculum Committee” section. Then login to our SharePoint website, select the "policies" tab.
