Seven routes offering a variety of distances all over the medical and academic campus make it convenient for steppers to walk at work — indoors or out.

2. Attend a Heart Health event at UAB

SIMPLE COOKING WITH HEART: UAB Heart & Vascular Services and the American Heart Association team up to serve tasty samples and distribute a new recipe booklet.

WOMEN + HEART DISEASE LUNCH & LEARN: When it comes to heart disease, women have unique risk factors and symptoms. Hear UAB patients Sherron Simmons and Joy O’Neal share their personal stories and advice during the UAB Heart Month Lunch & Learn. Free lunch from UAB Catering for the first 75 attendees — first come, first served.
