Jonathan is a finance professional responsible for supporting financial and administrative operations within his department. In this role, he provides budget oversight, financial analysis, and reporting to ensure effective management of departmental resources. He also supports key functions including expense tracking, forecasting, and compliance with university financial policies.

Prior to joining UAB, Jonathan held financial roles across both public and private sectors, including his work with the Birmingham Public Library, where he contributed to budgeting, financial reporting, and operational improvements. He also brings experience in financial planning and process optimization from previous industry roles.

Jonathan holds a Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M University-Commerce and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Phoenix
