Ashton Weber

Innovate Fellow

Ashton is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Neuroengineering at UAB, focusing on improving object recognition and processing speed in older adults through Useful Field of View training. She holds a bachelor's degree in Biological and Agricultural Engineering from Louisiana State University, where she conducted research on designing 3-D printed modular microfluidic chips incorporating interdigitated electrodes for microscopy.

In 2023, Ashton joined the Bill L. Harbert Institute as an Innovate Fellow, aiming to gain industry insights and contribute to the translation of innovative research. During her free time, she enjoys game nights with friends, reading, exploring new coffee shops, and spending time outdoors.
