T32 Training Program in Pathobiology and Rehabilitation Medicine

This program develops and prepares future leaders in translational rehabilitation research. Upon completion, trainees are specifically equipped to test and disseminate novel rehabilitative strategies that will alleviate functional impairment and compromised life quality in the face of chronic disease management.

T32 Training Program in Immunologic Diseases and Basic Immunology

This program provides Pre– and Post-doctoral MD and PhD scientists with a broad array of multidisciplinary training opportunities in basic, translational, and clinical research in immunology.

T32 Training Program in Cell, Molecular, and Developmental Biology Training Grant (CMB TG)

The CMB TG prepares trainees for careers in basic and biomedical research or education and emphasizes cell, molecular, and developmental biology (CMDB). At UAB, CMDB is distinct in that it emphasizes multidisciplinary research without focusing on a specific disease.

Mentored Experiences in Research, Instruction and Teaching (MERIT)

This program provides Postdoctoral scholars with outstanding research and teaching experiences while improving the recruitment of students from underrepresented groups into biomedical research fields.
