2026 Research Expo - Abstracts

DERM EXPO 2026. CALL FOR ABSTRACTS. What is it?: This one-day research expo on September 21st will showcase basic science, translational, and clinical research. Winners receive a prize. Our goal: This Expo aims to promote scientific exchange and interdisciplinary collaboration among investigators, clinicians, research staff, trainees, and students whose research intersects skin pathobiology and skin disease. Topics Include: Skin pathobiology, dermatologic diseases, skin disorders with systemic comorbidites. Submit your abstract at https://uab.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0wS3K6NC5hLeLpY. Deadline July 20th, 2026. Poster categories: Basic research: Basic and translation researched focused on skin diseases, skin cancer, skin injury, wound healing, and systemic organ disorders with dermal manifestations. Cliical Research: Patient-centered clinical research including case reports, observational studies, interventional clinical trials, and retrospective analyses related to dermatological conditions. The expo will take place from 12:00pm - 4:00pm on September 21st, 2026 at the UAB National Alumni House.
