UAB Orthopaedic Surgery joint faculty and trainees deliver world-class, compassionate care in a community environment for patients with hip and knee arthritis; to advance the science of hip and knee replacement through collaboration with experts in engineering, biosciences, and industry; and to educate other physicians in the care of patients with arthritis.

Our team is comprised of health professionals dedicated to the operative and non-operative care of patients with arthritis of the hip and knee. Our surgeons are board certified and members of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons. The sole focus of our surgeons' practice is arthritis of the hip and knee. Our nurses, primary care physicians, OR staff, physical therapies, occupational therapist are integral to our efforts to return patients with hip and knee arthritis to the activities that they enjoy. Our patients are treated with the care, expertise, and attention to detail that we would want for our own family members.
