Ready to conquer the deep end? Take a dive with the University of Alabama at Birmingham University Recreation and join UAB in Swim School. UAB’s Swim School registration is now open for the term running from Aug. 31 to Oct. 12.
At URec, water safety is a priority in the community. Designed for swimmers from 6 months old to adult, the UAB Swim School curriculum teaches proper technique while providing an easy transition to lifelong swimming.
Session One dates are as follows:
- Aug. 31
- Sept. 14, 21 and 28
- Oct. 5 and 12
Each session of group lessons consists of six 30-minute classes. Swim School participants should review class descriptions to determine which class is the best fit. URec may replace participants based on skill level and age.
