Vice President for Administration

he Vice President for Administration is responsible for leading policy development and overall strategic direction of UAB's administrative and compliance functions, including Police and Public Safety, Human Resources, Title IX, Environmental Health & Safety, and Government Affairs & Open Records. In addition, the Vice President for Administration sponsors and provides administrative support to Compliance & Risk Assurance, which reports directly to the President.

As a member of the President's Cabinet, the Vice President for Administration provides executive leadership for short- and long-range administrative planning and implementation consistent with the goals and objectives established by the President and Board of Trustees.
