A new home for alumni

The newly opened UAB National Alumni Society House, located at 1001 13th St. South, houses staff offices for UAB Alumni Affairs and provides an excellent venue for alumni programming and events.
UAB is switching to B-ALERT — a new, technologically advanced emergency notification system — effective Thursday Feb. 3.
UAB has rescheduled the class days missed Jan. 10-11 when the campus closed due to snow.
Art, jewelry, crafts and food from more than a dozen countries will be on display at UAB's 10th annual International Bazaar on Jan. 26, 2011. The free event is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Hill University Center Great Hall. It is part of the campus Community Week, a celebration of cultural diversity, and is open to the public.
The UAB Department of Music will present a master class for students with the performers of Quink Vocal Ensemble at noon Friday, Feb. 4 in the Mary Culp Hulsey Recital Hall.
