The Office of Service Learning and Undergraduate Research works alongside our community partners, students, faculty, and staff at UAB for a more sustainable future. In 2015, a set of global goals were established to hold world leaders accountable in ending world poverty, inequality, and climate change by 2030. Our community partners support these goals in the local Birmingham community and the global community.

How to Volunteer

If you are interested in volunteering with one these partners, please contact the organization directly. Be sure to discuss why you would like to volunteer, the name of the course and instructor (if applicable), the specific tasks you would like to perform as a volunteer, and the dates and times you are available (including the start and end date). Remember, though, that organizations may not be able to accommodate you as a volunteer.
