Alex Cody, a third-year student in the School of Health Professions’ Physician Assistant Studies program, has been named to the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) Judicial Affairs Commission (JAC).
Rebecca Shapiro, UAB Genetic Counseling Class of 2017, traveled 140 miles for her undergraduate degree (Detroit to Kalamazoo) and 718 miles for her graduate degree (Kalamazoo to Birmingham).

Katlyn Norris, a student in the UAB School of Health Professions’ Honors Program and a senior in the B.S. in Biomedical Sciences program (BMD), was one of only five recipients of an AAI Undergraduate Award at the 2017 Autumn Immunology Conference in Chicago, IL.
